MANDO ESCAPE is live

UEFN allows for the creation of truly captivating linear journeys. It has always been the ideal platform for the rapid realization of ideas — but with Mando Escape we set out to prove that this tool is also capable of producing deep and highly detailed worlds.

Inspired by the first season of The Mandalorian, we recreated the atmosphere of Nevarro as a linear progression through vastly different locations:

• The famous Cantina
• The Mandalorian Enclave and the Forge
• The dangerous Volcanic Wastes and the Lava River
• And a final battle with Moff Gideon

The key level design idea: visual variety directly drives gameplay. Cramped interiors force close-quarters fights, open spaces change the pacing, and every biome brings its own enemy types. The co-op experience is balanced so players have to manage resources strategically to survive to the end.

The game was built in six weeks during Epic’s Star Wars content drop — the same asset pack every creator had access to. Huge thanks to 3Lateral, Serbian Games Association and the Novi Sad creator community for the support along the way.

From concept to a living game world — and the updates are already rolling.
